HDRa means Auto. galaxy j5 vs e5 The phone will decide when to enable HDR. galaxy j5 vs e5 HDR means that it will always use HDR, no matter if the phone thinks is not necessary I normally have it set to HDRa and if I'm sure I want to get HDR I manually set to HDR
